1232. Chapter 1227 Thunder and Lightning Weather, Success (Two in One)

Hearing the noise, Mikaela instinctively looked up. Seeing the flash of lightning across the night sky, her pupils shrank, her expression filled with shock.

Thunder, thunder and lightning?!

As an S-rank Beast Tamer and an honorary instructor at the Imperial Beast Taming Academy, extensive knowledge was a must. Not to mention high-level skills, as long as the pet’s aptitude was adequate, she could certainly teach her pet super-level skills.

But the scene before her still left her with a profound shock.

A high-level skill, Thunder and Lightning, had been learned by the Thunder Dragon just like that?

Just from her few words?

The lightning flashed briefly in the night sky, and soon calm returned.

But Mikaela still looked up, a look of shock and bewilderment.

“Xia Xia?”

Xia Lala jumped, having just drifted off to sleep and regained consciousness. She glanced left and right, finally looking up.

Qiao Sang had been keeping an eye on the movement above.

The lightning that appeared in the night sky was unlike Tingbao’s previous lightning powers, difficult to detect from a distance. Its brilliance and conspicuousness, coupled with the deafening rumble, instantly confirmed it was a thunderstorm. Thunderstorm

…

Huh? Thunderstorm?!

Qiao Sang was stunned. Her first thought was, ” Holy crap

! Tingbao has already mastered Thunderstorm?”

Then her second thought was, “Calm down! It’s only been less than five minutes. Learning Thunderstorm is ridiculous! Maybe it was just a rare thunderstorm.”

Qiao Sang suppressed her rapidly racing heartbeat. As a precaution, she entered the Beast Taming Manual and quickly flipped to the page about Tingbao.

Soon, she saw a new statistic appear in the skill column:

[Thunderstorm (Beginner 1/100)+]

Qiao Sang stared at the statistic, her heart racing.

Five minutes, literally less than five minutes, and Tingbao had mastered Thunderstorm…

This, this is genius!

“Xia Xia!”

Excited, she heard Xia Lala’s voice from the outside world, snapping her back to reality.

Qiao Sang looked up in the direction Xia Lala pointed.

She saw Teacher Mikaela rapidly descending, pursued by an enraged Tingbao.

Tingbao’s arcs of electricity were intermittent, as if on the verge of a short circuit, seemingly struggling to even unleash a single electric skill. Yet, his expression was filled with murderous intent.

“Qiao Sang, tell him this was all your idea!” Mikaela shouted.

“Tingbao, calm down! What Teacher Mikaela said just now was just to provoke you!” Qiao Sang exclaimed.

“Tingting!”

Tingbao ignored her and continued his furious pursuit of Mikaela.

Mikaela landed first.

At that moment, a soul-purifying song suddenly rang out:

“Bingbing~bingbing~bingbingbing~bingbing~”

Invisible waves of sound rippled across the air.

The angry Tingbao froze in his tracks and stopped in mid-air, his expression gradually becoming calm.

Seeing this, Mikaela breathed a sigh of relief.

When the singing faded away, Qiao Sang looked at Lubao who had appeared and said, “You haven’t slept yet.”

Now that she had received many rewards and her brain was at the level of an A-level beastmaster, the healing sound waves no longer had any effect on her.

“Ice Emperor.”

Lubao called out calmly, indicating that she was woken up by the noise and had come out to see what was going on.

“It was the noise caused by Tingbao learning thunder and lightning weather.” Qiao Sang announced the good news.

“Ice Emperor?”

Lubao was stunned for a moment, with a look of astonishment, and called out.

So fast?

It remembered that Tingbao had just come out for training not long ago.

Tingbao in mid-air had a calm expression. It listened to the conversation with a puzzled look on its face.

It had already learned thunder and lightning weather?

“Yes,” Qiao Sang sighed. “I didn’t expect Tingbao to master this skill so quickly.”

As she spoke, a thought struck her. She glanced at Teacher Mikaela beside her, her gaze burning with sincerity and admiration.

“This is all thanks to Teacher Mikaela. Without you, Tingbao wouldn’t have been able to master Thunder Weather in such a short time.”

She had initially thought Mikaela’s provocations were too harsh, but she had never expected that just a few words could inspire Tingbao to master Thunder Weather.

This is the training level of an honorary teacher at the Imperial Beast Taming Academy!

Lubao, Xia Lala, and Tingbao all glanced over.

Almost reflexively, Tingbao’s body threatened to arc, but an inexplicable force quickly soothed its inner emotions.

“Tingting,”

Tingbao’s arcs, threatening to short-circuit, vanished, revealing a peaceful expression. “

Thank you for helping me.”

Mikaela didn’t understand, but based on Qiao Sang’s words and the Thunder Dragon’s expression, she guessed it was expressing gratitude.

Her eyelids twitched uncontrollably, and she hesitated for a moment before catching Xia Lala’s “You’re amazing” look and suppressing her original words. She said calmly,

“This is what I’m supposed to do.”

After a pause, she added, “The Thunder Dragon’s emotional response was also quite good.”

She couldn’t help but add,

“This training method is much more effective than I expected.”

More than just much better, the results were simply astonishing, worthy of being used as a teaching case.

In just a few minutes, through the power of language, a mid-level pet learned advanced skills. If this were to become known, it would likely shock even the biggest names in the education world.

“It’s mainly because you’re so stimulating, teacher,” Qiao Sang exclaimed. She couldn’t bear to listen a second time to what Teacher Mikala had said in the air. Mikala   remembered something, her eyelids twitching, and she earnestly warned,

“This training method is much more effective than I expected.”

“The Thunder Dragon is currently under the influence of the healing sonic waves, but its mental state remains positive. Once the effects wear off, you must explain to it what I said tonight, which was simply to stimulate its lightning power.”

She added, still feeling uneasy,

“Don’t forget to tell it that this idea was yours.”

She wasn’t afraid of the Thunder Dragon, but if it were to strike her down like it just now, it would be quite a headache. Not only would it train her skills, but getting along with her would be a problem.

“Tingting,”

Tingbao called calmly from the side, indicating that it understood.

You may understand now, but not necessarily once you wake up… Qiao Sang recalled the moment when Tingbao, with a murderous look on his face, chased after Teacher Mikaela. She said solemnly, “I will definitely explain it to it, Teacher, don’t worry.” Reassured,

Mikaela said, “Then I’ll go to bed. You should all go to bed early too.” She then returned to her room

, closing the door and getting into bed, but she tossed and turned, unable to sleep.

A moment later, Mikaela stood up, walked to the desk, opened her laptop, and launched the word processing software, typing:

“An In-depth Study of Whether Talking Can Help Pets Learn Skills Faster”

…

Qiao Sang carried Xia Lala, Lu Bao, and Ting Bao back to the room.

Under the influence of the healing sound waves, Ting Bao remained calm.

Soon, he, like Xia Lala, fell into a deep sleep.

Qiao Sang was so excited she could barely sleep.

Tingbao had mastered Lightning Weather in just a few minutes; it still seemed incredible.

She hadn’t expected the stimulation training to be so effective. Mikaela’s stimulation of Tingbao far exceeded her expectations.

The previous training with the extended electric grid was just as effective, and the recent Lightning Weather training was even more so.

She had only seen one intermediate-level pet master advanced skills in just a few minutes, and Tingbao was the only one she had ever seen.

If Tingbao needed training in any electrical skills in the future, Mikaela would be the right person to do it.

Various thoughts raced through Qiao Sang’s mind, and then something clicked. She entered the Beast Taming Manual and quickly flipped to the page about Tingbao.

Lightning Weather was a high-level skill, and Tingbao was only an intermediate-level pet, so his proficiency in it was still low. Even with a 100% success rate thanks to the cheat code, the lightning from Lightning Weather would only produce a single flash, just like what had just happened: a flash and gone.

If Tingbao wasn’t careful, he could miss the opportunity to devour it, and the Lightning Weather would drain his energy.

By then, not only will I not be able to accumulate points quickly, my own points will be deducted.

Qiao Sang pondered this as she added points to raise Tingbao’s Lightning Weather proficiency from entry-level to mastery.

Mastery of Lightning Weather was more than enough to take on a group of intermediate-level pets. A higher proficiency level would require even more energy, and Tingbao might struggle with his current energy.

After adding the points, Qiao Sang’s consciousness returned to reality. She contentedly closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

“

Xunxun~”

Qiao Sang woke to a call early in the morning.

She opened her eyes to see the face of little Xunbao.

Qiao Sang, unfazed, asked sleepily,

“What time is it?”

“Xunxun~”

Little Xunbao floated to the side and called out.

Seven-ten, still early… Qiao Sang turned over, about to go back to sleep.

Then, a thought struck her. She opened her eyes, glanced at Tingbao, who was still sleeping on the ground, sat up, put on her shoes, and went to the bathroom to wash up.

There are only eight days left until the competition ends. Even though Tingbao competed outside during the day yesterday, he didn’t earn as many points as he did during thunderstorms. Now that he’s mastered thunderstorms, he needs to hurry out and find competitors to compete with.

“Xunxun?”

Little Xunbao floated into the bathroom, calling out inquiringly.

Did Laoliu master thunderstorms last night?

He actually heard the noise outside, but the game on his phone was at a crucial moment, so he didn’t go over.

“Right,” Qiao Sang said as he brushed his teeth.

“Xunxun…”

Little Xunbao exclaimed with emotion.

As expected of his little brother, he learns skills just as quickly as he does…

no, he’s even faster, having mastered it in just a few minutes… Qiao Sang said,

“Go wake Tingbao up. Let’s go out and find opponents early.”

“Xunxun~”

Little Xunbao nodded and floated out of the bathroom.

Qiao Sang rinsed his mouth and began to wash his face.

“Xunxun!”

Suddenly, little Xunbao floated in with a look of anxiety and called out.

Laoliu couldn’t be woken!

Qiao Sang: “???”

“What’s going on?” Qiao Sang didn’t even bother to wipe the remaining water off his face, hurrying to the room.

Tingbao was still lying on the floor with his eyes closed, looking peacefully asleep.

“Ya Ya…”

Yabao had just opened his eyes and yawned.

“Xunxun!”

Little Xunbao called out anxiously.

He had just licked Lao Liu twice, and he hadn’t woken up!

Qiao Sang’s first reaction was: Could it be that Tingbao stayed up too late last night and couldn’t get up in the morning?

A second thought quickly occurred:

Impossible! Even if he only slept for an hour, he would have been forced to wake up by Xunbao’s licking.

“Ya Ya?”

Just as he was thinking, Yabao called out, waking up.

Isn’t this the same as last time? Is Tingbao molting again?

Qiao Sang and little Xunbao were both stunned.

“Xunxun~”

Little Xunbao was the first to react, breathing a sigh of relief. It

was molting! He’d thought something else had happened, and it was so scared.

Qiao Sang turned abruptly and hurried out of the room, shouting,

“Teacher! Come and see if Tingbao is molting again!”

At Qiao Sang’s call, Mikaela quickly arrived.

She began by saying, “Calm down. Thunder Dragon just molted, so the second molt wasn’t as fast. The fact that he can’t be woken up is probably because he expended too much energy last night, slept too late, and was too tired.”

Then she began to examine him.

Soon, Mikaela’s expression turned unsteady.

Oh my god, he’s actually molting!

“Teacher, what’s going on?” Qiao Sang asked, noticing the strange look on Mikaela’s face.

“Shedding…” Mikaela muttered.

Qiao Sang breathed a sigh of relief, but then sighed inwardly.

Relief that it was just a molt, not a problem.

The sigh was because time was running out before the end of the competition, and if the molt was delayed, it would be much harder to get first place in points.

Mikaela was, after all, an S-Class Beastmaster, and having spent some time with Qiao Sang, her resilience was unmatched. She quickly digested the situation, controlling her facial expression as she spoke,

“The Thunder Dragon’s second molt should also take about a day. Once it’s finished, it’ll need time to adapt.”

This meant that immediately going out to battle after molting might not go as smoothly as before.

“I know,” Qiao Sang sighed, “but you also know I can’t stop it from competing.”

Recently, Tingbao has paid too much to become the number one in points. If it is asked to rest and adapt before going out to fight an opponent, it will never agree, and it cannot say it out loud.

After hearing this, Michaela said no more and said:

“I will contact Jacqueline first.”

After that, he walked out of the room.

Qiao Sang glanced at Tingbao, went back to the bathroom, and continued to wash.

Time passed slowly, and on the second day, Tingbao woke up slowly and began to move his body subconsciously to shed his skin. Qiao Sang,

who had been watching beside him, his eyes lit up.

When Tingbao finished shedding his skin, she said in a light tone:

“Congratulations, you have completed your second molting.”

Tingbao did not show any surprise. It seemed that it had just woken up. It looked around, and then crackling yellow arcs appeared on its body. It rushed out of the door angrily like a flash of lightning:

“Tingting!!!” (End of this chapter)
